SEMA 2012 Attracts Over 60,000 Gearheads and Audi

The exclusive and invitation-only SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) show has just wrapped up and was fittingly held in Las Vegas. SEMA is the premier automotive specialty products trade event worldwide, and it proved as much by attracting over 60,000 domestic and international buyers to the Las Vegas Convention Center. Overall, it was another glorious round of seminars, product demos, special events and networking. Over 130,000 attendees accelerated the importance of this year’s show, marking a record-breaking year.

The SEMA Show is a trade-only event and not open to the general public.

 

The New Products Showcase was brimming with approximately 2,000 parts, tools and components. Those interested in the latest automotive technology has to offer flock to SEMA. Those who do not get the invite (a majority of the planet) anxiously await the updates from lucky attendees.

This year there were 1,500 of the most unique cars gathered at the show, which is being touted as the biggest one in history. Audi took full advantage of the opportunity to showcase the latest and greatest upcoming autos and technology. More to come on Audi’s presence at SEMA 2012!
